“As an alternative to black I’m a huge fan of navy blue. It maintains that sleek level of sophistication but adds a bit of diversity to my rack of LBDs. This Wang inspired Esther dress is a perfect trans-seasonal piece, its light and comfortable but gives the perception of being quite structured. This also makes it easy to dress up or down. If I wasn’t trying to lap up every last ray of sunshine I’d have layered it with a black trench. Swap the boots for a pair of pointy toes and I’m ready for some cocktail action.”
