Nina Dobrev recently stepped out in style at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards, showing off her curves in a plunging jumpsuit with cute ruffle detailing, which some likened to a Jackson Pollock painting.

The 24-year old Vampire Diaries star is quickly becoming one to watch on the red carpet, and according toHollywood Life her one-piece choice did not disappoint.

The look was out of character for the star, who generally tends to opt for glamourous dresses on the red carpet, but it was a welcome edge to her usual style.

The newly single star – she recently broke off her relationship with co-star Ian Somerhalder – finished off her look with strappy black Dolce and Gabbana heels, a red patent leather clutch and her hair gathered in a high ponytail. She brought an extra touch of class to her ensemble with her choice of elegant Martin Katz earrings.

Dobrev was at the TCAs to collect the Choice TV actress award for her role in TV’s hottest vampire drama.
