A Walk Through Paris With our Designer, Hanah
Our stunning designer Hanah has just returned from the trip of a lifetime with her hubby around Europe! Just looking through the amazing and colourful photos she brought home was enough to make us totally green with envy. So we decided to pick her brain and find out more about every girls dream holiday destination – Paris!
Here are Hanah's best tips and tricks for visiting the city of lights and love.
Why did you choose to go to Paris?
I've always dreamt of going to Paris ever since I was little so I leapt at the opportunity to go when we decided to do a trip around Europe! The history, culture, art, sights and food are just a few of the things that make Paris magical.
Can you give us a brief overview of the trip?
We had 5 days to spend in Paris, so we dedicated this to seeing as much of the sights as possible. We ticked off seeing the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Pont Alexander bridge, Lourve, Tuileries Gardens, Notre dame, Sainte Chapelle, Le Marais and Versailles.
What was your favourite thing about Paris?
As cliched as this sounds, getting to see the Eiffel tower for the first time when I caught a glimpse of it from my cab on the way to the hotel from the airport was just breathtaking.
What is one thing that is a Must-See?
The glittering light show of the Eiffel tower from the Trocadero!
What is one thing that is a Must-Do?
Cycling around the beautiful gardens of Versailles
What was Parisian fashion like?
Effortlessly chic, and minimal in neutral tones.
What were the people like?
The thing I love around Parisians is their cool flair. An important tip as everyone has probably already heard is to make sure you make an effort to speak the language when approaching Parisians!
