Esther & CO. CEO, Talita Estelle, has a vision to give back and believes that this vision is what helps to make a successful business. This International Women’s Day, Esther & CO. are teaming up with Fitted for Work – a charity that is doing some incredible work in helping disadvantaged women - and taking part in a charity drive to collect and donate clothing.
Fitted for Work is a not-for-profit that dedicates their time to helping women experiencing difficulty to regain their confidence and secure and maintain employment. They support women from varied backgrounds - older women; survivors of domestic violence; single mothers; women experiencing homelessness; women recently released from prison; transgender or gender diverse women; newly migrated or refugee woman; or women with a disability.
They deliver a suite of tailored pre-and post-employment services, including personal outfitting, resume assistance, interview preparation, mock interview practice and mentor placements.
Since 2005, Fitted for Work have helped over 35,000 women. 64% of women sampled who accessed their services found work within just 4 months and 100% reported increased confidence and job readiness after completing their Transition to Work and WomanKind programs.
