Tennis - 2013 Wimbledon Championships - Day Thirteen - The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club

It may have been the first time a Brit has won Wimbledon in 77 years, but all eyes were fixed firmly on what was happening just off centre court.

As Andy Murray battled the heat to beat Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon Final, he was cheered on by some of the world’s leading fashionistas, including Victoria Beckham, Mollie King and his own girlfriend Kim Sears.

With Kate Middleton out of the picture as she waited for the arrival of George Alexander Louis, the fashion world turned to Kim Sears, whose love for mixing designer labels with high street items is very similar to the Duchess’ style.

While on the fashion radar for a long time now, throughout the 2013 tennis tournament Kim Sears couldn’t put a foot wrong. She looked every bit the sensational other half of her Championship winning boyfriend, and mastered the look of Wimbledon by opting for elegant and sophisticated apparel.

Among her noteworthy outfits was a fun pair of Hobbs trousers teamed with a white blouse and cropped orange jacket. However, it was on the last day that Sears really shone, looking radiant in a mint green Victoria Beckham lace dress accessorised with her signature Willow bag from Mulberry’s summer collection.

Without a doubt Sears could pull off just about any look with her natural beauty, silky long locks and those sparkling blue eyes that captured the world’s attention as she patiently watched her partner on court.

While spectators’ eyes flitted between Murray and Sears during the history-making match, you couldn’t help but notice Victoria Beckham as she took in the game from the royal box. Dressed in a racy lingerie-style design by Louis Vuitton, the ex-Spice Girl looked cool and calm with her hair tied back and large gold-rimmed sunglasses flashing as the sun beat down. The dress was the same one she had been photographed in five days earlier on a fashion shoot.

Seated alongside BFF Tana Ramsay, the mum-of-four looked every bit the mega star in her skin revealing choice of outfit, but it did set some critics’ tongues wagging.

Other stars spotted at the event of the season were Pippa Middleton wearing a colour-blocking pastel blue dress and jacket, and her mother Carol stylishly clad in a smart blue dress paired with nude coloured accessories.

Mollie King was the epitome of summer chic as she stepped out in a gorgeous floral blazer and shorts combination by Oasis. Her choice of attire was a perfect example of how to have fun with an outfit but still stay traditional to Wimbledon.

Naomi Campbell also wowed the crowds with her light blue fitted dress and black suede studded jacket. Her trademark long tresses lay effortlessly over her shoulders.

However, not every star can get it right, and poor Holly Willoughby copped a bit of a hammering for her choice of pastel blue dress with a high neck and unflattering stitching around the bust. Perhaps she was trying to look more demure after she was recently slammed for her inappropriate attire on The Voice, but this was not a flattering decision for the young TV personality.

The wrong choices didn’t stop off court, with even player Roger Federer being warned for his fashion faux pas. He was asked to change his orange-soled shoes as they were against the all-white Wimbledon rule.

The hype around what people wore has proven that Wimbledon is not just about the tennis -– it’s about fashion too.
