Description
Bordeaux is one of those colours that quietly makes everything else in your wardrobe look better. The Korbela Dress in Bordeaux is a linen blend midi dress with a V neckline, functional buttons down the front and short sleeves finished with a soft frill. The skirt falls easily from the waist and moves the way a good linen should.
It sits happily across seasons. Cream, camel, black and rust all work beside it, so it goes with the shoes you already own. Wear it with strappy sandals on a warm day, or ankle boots and a denim jacket when the weather turns. It is bump friendly and maternity approved.
Good to know before you order
The skirt and waist are relaxed and easy, but the bust is cut closer than the rest of the dress. If you are a fuller cup, or sitting between sizes, take the size up and it will sit exactly as it should. The 80 per cent viscose and 20 per cent linen blend is light and breathable, and it softens beautifully with every wash. Our size 18 and size 20 come up a little closer through the body than the rest of the range, so if you are between two sizes take the larger one.

Styling notes
If you prefer more coverage at the plunge neckline, layer a simple camisole underneath. Choose one close to your skin tone for a discreet effect, or cream for a visible contrast; a short cardigan lets the waist and flowing skirt remain the focus.

Shipping and delivery
Everything ships from our Sydney warehouse, except our Esther Home pieces, which ship straight from Ivory & Deene in Tasmania (more on that below). Order before 12pm AEST on a weekday and yours goes out the same day. Order after 12pm, or on a weekend or public holiday, and it goes out the next business day.
Pre-orders work a little differently. A pre-order is a piece that hasn't reached our warehouse yet, so it ships once our incoming stock lands rather than same day. You'll see the estimated dispatch timeframe on the product page before you order. There's more detail in our pre-order FAQ.
During busy periods like sale events, Christmas and public holidays, dispatch can run up to 24 hours behind. We'll always get your order moving as fast as we can.

Esther Home (homewares)
Our Esther Home range is curated with Ivory & Deene, our family's homewares label, and ships straight from their warehouse in Tasmania. Because these pieces are packed and sent separately, their shipping works a little differently:
- Shipping is worked out at checkout from your address and the size of the piece, so you see the exact cost before you pay
- Free shipping over $150 applies to our clothing and accessories, not to Esther Home pieces
- If your order includes Esther Home pieces and your Esther pieces come to under $150 ($150 NZD for New Zealand), standard shipping for your Esther pieces is added in your cart, so your Esther parcel ships at its usual rate
- Most pieces leave Tasmania within 1 business day. Road delivery usually takes 4 to 8 business days, express (where offered) 1 to 2
- Parcels need a signature on delivery
- If your order has both clothing and homewares, checkout shows a shipping line for each parcel, and you'll receive two parcels, each with its own tracking
- Returns go back to Ivory & Deene rather than through our returns portal, just email us and we'll send you the details

Orders to the United States are charged in US dollars, and orders to Canada in Canadian dollars, converted at the current exchange rate, so you will see the amount in your own currency before you confirm.
Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore
- Flat rate: $29.95 AUD. Free shipping thresholds don't apply to these destinations.
UK and Europe
We don't ship to the UK or Europe just yet. We're working on it, so watch this space.
Pre-orders
Pre-order pieces ship once our incoming stock lands, and the estimated dispatch timeframe sits on each product page.
Pre-order shipping is a flat $11.95 AUD for Australia and $14.95 AUD for New Zealand. New Zealand shipping is converted to NZD at checkout. Pre-order shipping is excluded from free-shipping offers. Pre-order items sent together share one pre-order shipping charge. In-stock items are dispatched first, separately, and their usual shipping rates apply. The total shipping charge is shown at checkout before payment.
Pre-orders are available for delivery within Australia and New Zealand only.
You're very welcome to pop a pre-order in your cart alongside something that's already in stock. We'll send your in stock pieces straight away and your pre-order will follow once it lands, so you're never waiting on one piece to get the rest. If you order two pre-orders with different arrival dates, we may send those separately too. Either way, you'll get tracking as each parcel leaves us.

I love this dress. I bought it for my baby shower and maternity photos at 34 weeks pregnant and it’s so flattering. I will be able to wear it the rest of my pregnancy. It’s also going to be able to be used once baby is here in terms of fit and style. Fast delivery too!
Purchased this for a maternity shoot! Hit the vibe perfectly. Great quality! I would say the sizing is accurate however for larger bust girls definitely size up 1-2 sizes. I’m 14/16 with size H cups, XL didn’t fit my bust, XXL was still slightly snug but fit.

Really lovely dress, lightweight. Dress up or down. Normal Australian sizing.
I had previously ordered the plunge posture support bras and ordered these thinkibg they would be as good. Unfortunately, they are not well made and the elastic really cuts into the shoulders.
Sizing was very small and upon return I was only offered a credit and there is nothing else on your range suitablee to replace with
Lovely fit, bit too low cut for my preference but an easy fix. I found the buttons weren’t well sewn on and were coming undone after 1 wear. The button holes are also too big for the buttons.
Love the dress! I bought it for a special occasion, unfortunately there was a broken button which was at the top section of dress and noticeable , but otherwise everything about the dress I loved, the service and delivery was amazing.
Beautiful dress, fabric feels amazing, coour is gorgeous, but I am returning as bust wasn't flattering on me. It made my breaststroke look really small and very low.

I absolutely adore this dress, unfortunately the first button came off on my second wear of the dress so I now need to repair it before being able to wear it again which is disappointing for the price if the dress. Buttons could definitely use some extra stitching!
